The Carambola Ltd

The Carambola Limited is Ireland's original school meals provider, delivering nutritious, high-quality food to pupils across the country since 2003. By combining wholesome ingredients with a menu that changes regularly, Carambola creates hot lunches, chilled lunches and snack-/breakfast club options that cater to a wide range of dietary requirements. Their service is designed to be simple for parents and guardians - an online portal lets families update menu choices at any time, while schools benefit from a seamless administrative process and a reliable delivery schedule.

Key offerings include the seasonal Winter Lunch Menu, a range of hot meals funded through the national Hot Meals scheme, and flexible chilled options for year-round service. Feedback from principals and teachers highlights the high standard of food, the variety of choices, and the professionalism of the Carambola team. By prioritising health, convenience and engagement, Carambola helps schools provide children with meals that are both enjoyable and nutritionally balanced.
