Bandon Family Resource Centre CLG

Bandon Family Resource Centre (FRC) is a community-focused charity operating within the Cork region as part of the national Family Resource Centre network. The centre works to strengthen families by offering a range of support services, information and guidance that promote wellbeing and resilience.

Key areas of specialisation include mental-health support, parenting programmes and access to local resources that help families navigate everyday challenges. The centre also collaborates with the national board and regional partners to ensure a coordinated approach to family assistance across Ireland.

Led by core staff such as Louise Hackett, Bandon FRC provides a welcoming, inclusive environment where families can seek advice, attend workshops and connect with specialist services. By fostering strong community links, the centre aims to empower families to thrive and build a healthier, more supportive local community.
