Dyrick Hill Wind Farm Limited is a wholly‑owned subsidiary of EMPower, the Irish‑based international developer of wind and solar projects. Operating in the pre‑feasibility and public‑consultation stage, the company is driving the development of a new on‑shore wind farm on Dyrick Hill, situated 16 km north‑west of Dungarvan and 8.5 km south‑west of Ballymacarbry in County Waterford. Its core mission is to deliver low‑carbon, ecologically non‑invasive and affordable renewable energy that supports Ireland’s expanding economy and sustainability targets.

The firm’s specialisations include the full lifecycle of wind‑farm development – from strategic infrastructure planning and detailed Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) to stakeholder engagement and regulatory submission. EMPower has commissioned the Sligo‑based consultancy Jennings O’Donovan & Partners to produce a comprehensive EIA covering biodiversity, landscape, cultural heritage and other key environmental aspects. Dyrick Hill Wind Farm also offers a virtual project consultation exhibition, providing an interactive platform for local communities, statutory bodies and other interested parties to review documents, comment and engage directly with the project team.
