126 Artist-Run Gallery & Studios Company Limited By Guarantee is an artist-led organisation that has been a cornerstone of Galway's visual-arts ecology since 2005. Operated voluntarily by a rotating board of professional artists and curators, the gallery presents a dynamic programme of exhibitions and events, showcasing contemporary practice and fostering critical dialogue within the community.

The organisation offers both public exhibition space and studio facilities, enabling emerging and established artists to develop their work in a supportive environment. Its programme is enriched by collaborations with partners such as Galway City Council, the Arts Council of Ireland and Culture Ireland, and it relies on the generosity of members and donors to keep the lights on, develop new initiatives and remunerate artists.
