Cork Community Pride CLG

Cork Community Pride is a grassroots, volunteer-led organisation established in 2026 to deliver a Pride event in Cork city and county. United by a commitment to equality, visibility and celebration, the group brings together members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies. Its planned 2026 event, scheduled for 1st and 2nd August, hopes to feature a colourful Pride march and a Pride Family Picnic, creating a welcoming space for people of all ages. The organisation is run by a passionate collective of volunteers from across the region and operates with very limited funding, relying on donations and volunteer support. It also organises a range of community events, including a Pride banner making session, a Pride quiz, a Pride brunch for older men, and intergenerational meet-ups. The group publishes news on its activities, such as parade route details, colour zones, and a summer raffle, and welcomes volunteers to help bring its events to life.
