The Core Works Limited operates a Pilates studio in the centre of Westport, County Mayo, offering both in-studio and online classes. The studio provides small-group sessions for a wide range of clients, including those seeking ante-natal, post-pregnancy, recovery, marathon training, back care, Buff Bones® or general movement work. Assessment and one-to-one classes are also available. The founder, whose background includes the arts and antiques, began practising Pilates in 2004 and completed an advanced diploma in Pilates in Dublin in 2012, later studying Reformer Barre, pelvic floor health, young adults, and ante- and postnatal health. The company’s philosophy emphasises teaching the individual body without judgement, connecting mind and muscle to aid injury recovery, and guiding clients back to self-awareness.
